| WHERE WE ARE |
| The Affittacamere L’Arancio is situated at the beginning of the
Romana Road , near the Santa Gemma Sanctuary and Porta Elisa. It is easy
to reach by the Firenze-Mare motorway: from Florence, exit motorway at
Capannori and from Genova, Livorno or Versilia, exit motorway at Lucca.
The Affittacamere L’Arancio is 300 metres from the historical centre
of Lucca. The name L’Arancio comes from the area where L’Affittacamere is located and where there is also a very important shopping centre providing any kind of services, which has the same name. From Porta Elisa it is easy to reach the churches, monuments and squares that make Lucca famous in the world. Other Tuscan cities of art such as Pisa and Florence, the coast of Versilia with its marvellous beaches and Torre del Lago with its Puccini’s Museum-House in the hinterland, are not far from the Affittacamere L’Arancio. Mountain lovers can go on excursions in the near Mediavalle and Garfagnana, tasting the local products of this area. |
